In east Active August there are sports offers, healthy nutrition and other features for employees
 
True to the motto "Open your mouth - put in a stick, be a donor", the management and the entire team at east cosmos* campaigned for the German bone marrow donor database, "DKMS" for short. At the end of August, a total of 51 employees from all over east cosmos took part and registered for the fight against blood cancer in the bone marrow donor file. The registration fee of EUR 35.00 per person was of course paid for by the east.
 
The well-being of the employees is very important to the east managing directors Christoph Strenger and Jens Nuske. For this reason, various campaigns were launched throughout August in which employees could do sports and test their health, free of charge and without obligation, of course. In "Active August", trained fitness experts made the east employees sweat in a wide variety of activities such as yoga & Pilates, jogging meetings or squat challenges. "This not only strengthens the team spirit, but also promotes a healthy work-life balance" - says CEO Christoph Strenger.
 
The menu featured particularly healthy staff meals with a variety of power foods for a balanced diet. A health check by the AOK could also be carried out or the podcast by pain specialist Roland Liebscher-Bracht could be listened to. Not only in August, the employees can use the diverse fitness offer at special conditions through the cooperation partner Kaifu Lodge. The neighboring St. Pauli Fahrrad-Cafe offers discounted bike checks for all cyclists. After sport, the in-house east Body & Soul Spa ensures relaxation and well-being, because there is a 50% reduction on all cosmetic and massage treatments for the east cosmos employees.
